COVID-19 UPDATE:

Updated 12/15/2020

Below is a list of guidelines we must follow for relaunch. We know that everyone is at different places during the pandemic and we want to accommodate as best we can. The following guidelines were put together with love and concern for you and your family.

Dear New Life Family,

First, thank you again for your commitment and support. We appreciate you taking extra time out of your Sunday to share your thoughts on how we can move forward as a church. That discussion left us with renewed strength to continue the mission of New Life Community Church and to continue working towards God’s calling.

In order to move forward we need to work together, so we’ve come up with a multifaceted plan to do what we can to keep everyone safe and the doors open. This approach leans heavily on the solutions presented by many of you on Sunday. Thank you again!

When you come to church on Sunday here is what you can expect:

1.) Governor Ever’s mandate will be posted. We believe that we as a church body need to encourage everyone to follow the guidelines laid out by those in authority over us. Until the mandate is lifted, that means wearing masks for indoor gatherings.

2.) We understand that not everyone can or will wear a mask at all times. While we encourage everyone to follow the mandate to the best of their abilities, we also want everyone to feel like they are welcome in God’s house. Our job is to bring the Gospel and encouragement. Not enforce state mandates.

3.) We will be implementing temperature checks at the door. If you have a fever, you will be asked to leave. This approach is taken by many area churches and businesses to help further reduce the risk of spreading illness. If you are not feeling well, please stay home. We love you, and we want you to be well. We just don’t want to risk anyone else’s health and wellness.

4.) The sanctuary will be open for everyone. We will designate a mask only area. We ask that you respect those designations to help create a space that is inviting and comfortable to people who prefer to not be exposed to unmasked people.

5.) As a further abundance of caution. A mask only area will be available in the cafe space. We will request all unmasked people to steer clear of that section for any reason.

We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone. We hope that this plan will be an effective way to bring people back into the building. Above all we ask that you continue to pray and show an abundance of grace to one another as we navigate this season. God is the ultimate authority and he is in control.

If you have any other suggestions or concerns, please let us know.

The best is yet to come.
